Old Vine Shiraz 2005

Vintage 2005 produced good weather for great fruit.
The Old vine Shiraz is a single vineyard wine from the 93 yr old dry grown vines on the winery block.
The grapes were hand picked, open barrel fermented and lightly pressed resulting in a beautifully smooth fruit driven wine. The Shiraz was matured in French Oak .
The nose exhibits pepper, spice, plum and blackberry with subtle smokey oak.
The palate is fresh berry fruit with great oak and excellent length.
