Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
The 2004 vintage conditions were great for ripening of fruit. No disease pressure and allowed fruit to ripen slowly. Foggo Wines’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes from gnarled and contorted vines planted along the banks of a tributary of Pedlers creek. The winery block on Foggo’s Rd , McLaren Vale is famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon grown on fertile dark alluvial soils. The grapes were hand picked , open barrel fermented and lightly pressed resulting in a beautiful smooth fruit driven wine. Matured in French Oak. This Cabernet is a great example of its variety. It has great fruit definition with lovely lingering sweetness and full tannins. It has been matured in French Oak. Cellar for 2-5 years Please decant before drinking.
